  the restaurant was busy but this meant the service was very slow. However the steaks were cooked beautifully.

  This is my second visit to Porcinis, I wasn't particularly impressed the first time with their food then (the worst chilli & garlic pasta ever!) but I thought I'd give it a second go, and last Saturday was even worse! Table booked for my party of six at 7:30pm, our starters arrived at 9pm! (£8 for some sliced meat and a couple of olives) by 9:45pm my pitifully poor pizza (£16) arrived, my guests food was also pretty inedible judging by the amount the left on thier plates. In short, poor service, poor food, high price! DON'T BOTHER!!!!!

  Table of 20 booked tonight. 17 meals served. The other 3 meals served after everyone else had finished. Drinks rather overpriced with a pint of lager at near £5 per pint. Also cleared table whilst people still eating. Not what you expect when paying top prices for food. First time I have been here personally, and will not be returning. Food was ok, but nothing special.

  DONT GO..RUBBISH WOULD NOT EAT THERE AGAIN. GOT NO APOLOGY FOR A RUBBISH MEAL SO POSTING THIS REVIEW AND TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS IN LONGTON. Went there on Thursday steak night. The steak was inedible rubbish. When the waiter asked if everything was OK with the meal. WHICH IT OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT OK as I had left nearly all of the steak DEEEERR!! I told him the steak was rubbish very fatty and full of grizzle tasteless and inedible. His reply was that is because it is a ribeye!! REALLY RIBEYE MY ARSE....MUST THINK WE ARE ALL STUPID. I ASKED THE WAITER IF I COULD TAKE IT HOME FOR MY DOG? BUT HE DID NOT GET THAT and brought it back for me wrapped in tin foil..tried feeding it to my dog and he refused to eat it. Utter rubbish steak my ARSE!,
